- To enable the candidate to become a qualified first aider within their place of work
Programme Objectives
- By the end of the session the candidate will be able to:
- Dealing with accidents and illness (What to do in an emergency)
- Using a First Aid kit
- Simple record keeping
- Resuscitation
- Treatment of an unconscious casualty
- Resuscitation
- Treatment of heart attack
- Control of bleeding
- Burns and scalds
- Poisoning
- Fractures
- Shock
Who is this programme of study for?
- This course is ideal for those who are going to be nominated First Aider (all UK Companies must make First Aid provision for their employees) at Work or want to improve their own skills in First Aid.
