HSE First Aid at Work
The First Aid at Work (statutory) course complies with the current Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Successful students receive certificates to show that they are qualified to be First Aider in the workplace and it must be refreshed every three years.
Who should attend and what will they gain from the course
This course is ideal for those who are going to be nominated First Aider (all UK Companies must make First Aid provision for their employees) at Work or want to improve their own skills in First Aid.

Dealing with accidents and illness (What to do in an emergency)
Using a First Aid kit
Simple record keeping
Resuscitation
Treatment of an unconscious casualty
Resuscitation
Treatment of heart attack
Control of bleeding
Burns and scalds
Poisoning
Fractures
Shock
Assessment
Multiple – choice question paper and practical skills test. Successful candidates will receive and HSE approved certificate valid for three years.
