Programme Objectives
By the end of the session candidates will be able to:
- Recognise legal requirement for record keeping
- Explain the benefit of good records and the implications of incomplete documents
- Identify possible legal issues re in-correct completion of paper work
- Describe how effective records contribute to the continuity of care
- Explain the principles of care documentation i.e. assess, plan, implement, evaluate (APIE)
- Conduct practical form filling and role play around case studies
